GoGift - “GoGift’s Gift Card Solutions”

GoGift first came to Onky with the simple ask of “an explainer video for one of our gift cards”. They quickly realized that before anything else, they wanted to make sure the art style used for the characters felt 100% like GoGift, before even animating a single frame.


Onky: concept development, style development, scriptwriting, storyboarding, illustration, animation, sound design

The characters were made to be extra cartoon-y, to be able to over-exaggerate their gifting happiness. 

But to make sure people know we're talking about real gifts that can be purchased with the gift cards, we wanted the gifts to really pop.


One of the important approaches to our work with GoGift, is the combination of simple, outlined characters, with more realistic, 3D items.
